For 35 years, this narrated cruise has provided a sailors point of view of the grain elevators, industries and green space along the shores of the Buffalo River. During this two hour cruise we explain how the invention of the Grain Elevator shaped Buffalo’s history and influenced modern architecture. If you’re lucky, you might be able to watch ships unloading their cargo of grain or sand at General Mills or ADM.
Even if you’re a native, there’s something for everyone to learn on this fascinating cruise. Take in the beautiful views and see new developments along the shore as you hear about Lake Erie, Niagara River, and Buffalo Harbor. It’s a fun experience for the whole family!
The ticket office opens 1 (one) hour prior to cruise times and boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Masks are required for boarding, disembarking and during general movement around the vessel.
Prices, schedules and routes are subject to change without notice. We cruise under strict guidelines of the USCG and routes are subject to change based on commercial vessel traffic or for any reason deemed necessary by the Captain.
Due to STRICT Health Inspections and NYS Permits all food and beverage must be obtained from Buffalo Harbor Cruises and All Occasions Catering.
