Your students will be eager and excited to board Miss Buffalo II for an adventure out on the water. It’s an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives!
Getting your students out of the classroom is one of the best and easiest ways to get them engaged and interested in learning. What better way to teach your students about the rich history of Buffalo and its waterways than to show them as we cruise the Buffalo River, Niagara River, Lake Erie, and Black Rock Canal!
We offer single school trips, or we can pair the smaller schools and classes together to save those pennies. Is there a special site you want to show your students? We can coordinate a special route to correlate to a topic of your choice to fit your curriculum … remaining Grain Elevators, the terminus of the Erie Canal, Military ships, lighthouses, wildlife, global warming, water health or pollution are some of the topics that can be discussed. Our versatile narration teaches students about the history, social studies, and economics of Buffalo. Or just enjoy your time together on the water with a DJ as you celebrate the end of a school year. Let’s not forget about the snack bar, gift shop and the Buffalo Bingo game that your students are sure to enjoy!
